I have moved blogs! Incase you haven’t realised here is my goodbye post.
However, so you don’t forget me, or miss out on this month’s my pure review here it is!
Amy x

So this conditioner was originally ordered at the beginning of January. Over the last few weeks I have fell in love with John Frieda’s root awakening shampoo and conditioner duo for normal hair. Then I started testing Tommy Gun’s Jasmine, wild nettle and sweet almond duo {guest post to come soon over at I heart cosmetics}. During all this and using this product I realised something. After resisting blowdrying and straightening my hair for a few months and showing my hair some love by way of weekends off washing, staying away from hair dye and the occasional hair treatment I now have normal hair. It isn’t dry, damaged hair. So what I am about to say about this conditioner needs to be with one thing in mind, this is designed for hair not like mine.
Smell: delicious, this has a sweet, slightly nutty scent but doesn’t leave your hair actually smelling specifically of anything.
Consistency: thick but easy to get out of the packaging and apply to the hair. Rinses out relatively easily too.
Packaging: lovely, doesn’t leak {I took it on holiday with me} and isn’t one of those silly, ridiculous upside down bottles that gloops out as you open the lid!
Last but not least, results: this left my hair nice and was fine on the day of use but {remember how my hair isn’t dry/damaged anymore} toward the end of the day and certainly by the next day my hair was in desperate need of washing as the roots were greasy. Partly this is because I need to apply near the roots {my hair is short}.
Overall thoughts: nice product and for dry/damaged hair I think it would be lovely. But at £10.49 for 225ml it is a little bit on the pricey side. Though if you don’t use much then the price isn’t a show stopper.
Btw I also got this Alva Sanddorn Eye cream to review. So far I haven’t used it much as my eyes are pretty sensitive. Weirdly this is more of an issue during certain parts of my lady cycle it seems. Yeah I know, strange but true. My eyes went funny but I think it was because it was as my pregnancy hormones were reducing so I will review properly in a couple of weeks time. Have to say though generally I really like this Sanddorn range from Alva so hopefully it will be a love.
